Michael Pavlovich

Since September 2000, Mike has served as Pharmacist-In-Charge
and Chief Operating Officer for SportPharm and Living Well Pharmacy
Inc., specializing in sports pharmacy.
Mike served as President of the California Pharmacists Association
(CPhA) in 2000-2001 and was a regular figure in the print and televised
media addressing such issues as drug abuse, FDA regulatory matters,
and the proper use of antibiotics. He has a long history of volunteer
service and leadership positions within several local, state and
national organizations.
He serves as Associate Clinical Professor at Western University
of Health Sciences and Adjunct Faculty/Preceptor for University
of the Pacific, University of Southern California, and University
of Washington Schools of Pharmacy. He has served on the Board of
Directors of Pharmaceutical Care Network, a pharmacy benefits manager,
and was invited to a White House briefing on health care reform.
Mike often speaks to athletic trainer associations nationwide
on the proper utilization of prescription and non-prescription
medications, and has extensive experience in formulary management
and development. He has been recognized as the Marion Merrell-Dow
Distinguished Young Pharmacist (1995); CPhA Student of the Year
(1989); PharMerica's Most Valuable Clinical Assessment Pharmacist,
Western Region (1999); and was named to Who’s Who in
the West and Who’s Who Among Students in American
Universities and Colleges.
Mike received the Doctor of Pharmacy, cum laude , from University
of the Pacific School of Pharmacy in 1989. He is married to Lisa
and is the father of Nicole, Aaron, and Ty.
